  The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere authentic and clean. The menu was enticing and the food was good. I ordered a rib-eye steak, one of my favorite cuts. It was cooked perfectly, medium-rare and had a great mesquite flavor, unfortunately, it was so tough I could not cut it. My husband tends to be embarrassed to complain and so I shredded all that I could manage to chew. Living in the south-east, we don't often find a flavorful, tender steak so I was excited to be ordering one in the great state of Texas. I am sorry to say it was a disappointment. The sides were very good and the cobbler was delicious. For a great experience, do yourself a favor, order the steak, if it isn't tender, request a new one. You won't regret it. If I get back that way again I will definitely give it another try.

  Was good barbeque. The service wasn't amazing, but was sufficient. The food was delicious. Will definitely be back on future trips to Texas.

  I ordered the BBQ two meat combination- Brisket, ribs, Cole slaw and fried okra. The brisket has a great flavor but it was very fatty. I can't remember ever having been served more fat in a restaurant. I trimmed it off and I felt disappointed with the portion of lean. The ribs were delicious-Top Notch! The cole slaw was tasty and the fried okra was standard. My wife said her chicken fried steak was the best she has had. I tasted it and it was really good. I should've gotten it and a side of ribs. The service is good and the restaurant is clean. The price is what you would expect to pay. I'm going to try it again and see if the kitchen just had an off day cutting brisket. I can't imagine a restaurant serving cuts like that on purpose.
